Zsuzsanna Koritár is the director of the Hungarian Energy Efficiency Institute (MEHI). Before joining MEHI in 2017, Zsuzsanna spent 16 years working at Energiaklub, a prominent Hungarian nonprofit organization focusing on sustainable energy systems. At MEHI she has been working towards fulfilling the organisation’s goals to initiate and support any policy, market, business or social initiative that aim to reduce energy use and improve the energy performance of buildings. Since becoming MEHI’s director in 2019, she has continued to be a strong advocate for energy efficiency in Hungary, by developing policy proposals and background research papers, analysing legislation and conveying the subject to policy and decision makers.
