Maximilian Mendel has over 18 years of experience in the real estate sector, especially in investor relations, transactions, asset management, property development, leasing and operations, advisory and research. He was Managing Director of ZEITGEIST Asset Management, managing the Polish branch and all related SPVs. Prior to this, he was Senior Director and Head of Living Investment at JLL and, beforehand, one of the partners of REAS | Residential Advisors. Within the real estate realm, his focus has always been the Living Sector – residential, multifamily, BTS, BTR, PRS, student accommodation, and co-living – in Poland and across CEE. He holds a master’s degree in urban planning from TU Dortmund, Germany, and a PhD from the Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a member and co-chair of the Urban Living Product Council in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Poland.
