Mathabo Makuta is the National Director for Habitat for Humanity Zambia since 1st October 2019 and responsible for overall oversight and management of Habitat Zambia operations and programmes on daily basis as well as providing strategic direction for the organization. She has been engaged on a Global Assignee Employment Contract by Habitat for Humanity International. She is a Chartered City and Regional Planner by profession with a Master of Science Degree in City and Regional Planning obtained in 1999 at the University of Wales, Cardiff in the UK. She is an officially registered and certified Member of Zambia Institute of Planners and Royal Town Planning Institute (UK).
