Gerhard Koch is Head of Public Affairs at Wienerberger AG. He has large experience in advocacy, both on national and European level, R&D, marketing & technical PR in the construction sector. Mr. Koch has several leading functions in European associations, such as TBE – Tiles & Bricks Europe, CERAME UNIE – umbrella association of ceramic industries, CPE – Construction Products Europe and Business Europe – Chair of the Industrial Affairs Committee. He has participated in various research projects as project leader (building acoustics, sustainability of clay bricks, etc.) and in the implementation of important projects like e.g. European ETS or Sustainability Management in Wienerberger AG. Mr. Koch studied civil engineering and economics at the Technical University of Vienna.
