Zsuzsanna Koritár has been working in the field of sustainable energy management in the non-governmental sector since 2001. Over the past 7 years, improving the energy performance of buildings has become her main focus area. In 2019 she became director of the Hungarian Energy Efficiency Institute, and through her work she advocated energy efficiency to market actors, policy makers and decision makers. She has successfully engaged companies and professional organisations in collaborative work and developed background research as well as several policy proposals. In January 2023, she joined Habitat for Humanity Hungary as a policy expert, where she brings a social focus to climate goals through working for quality and affordable housing and for reducing energy poverty.
