Emily works as a Researcher at BPIE for carbon and energy in the built environment. More specifically she focuses on policies for Positive Energy Neighbourhoods, climate adaptation, sufficiency, and EPCs with the aim to bring more systemic approaches into the building sector.

She holds a bachelor degree in Technology and Liberal Arts and Science with major in Environmental Resource Management and an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Environmental Science, Management and Policy. In her master thesis she evaluated energy sufficiency policies for the housing sector.

Emily has been a coordinator, facilitator, speaker and event organiser across climate movements and youth organisations in the past 6 years.
