Henrietta Blackmore

Dr Henrietta Blackmore brings diverse experience to her role as National Director at Habitat for Humanity GB. She has worked in the community and international development sector for 20 years, including 10 years at Save the Children in senior leadership roles with responsibilities for the delivery of global humanitarian and development programmes, strategic partnerships, fundraising, operations, organisational strategy development, people and culture. Henrietta also dedicates time to volunteering, mentoring and teaching. She has recently joined Amnesty International UK’s Grants Subcommittee, is a Trustee for the social enterprise charity UnLtd, and has a visiting role at UCL’s Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy master’s programme, with a focus on development and innovation. She is incredibly excited to have joined the Habitat team in August 2023, holding a shared belief in the power of values-based organisations to help young people, families and community’s flourish through the provision of decent, secure housing for all.
