Europe Housing Forum

Aims to bring together virtually housing sector players to learn, collaborate and position housing as a key driver of sustainable cities and economic growth. The forum seeks to surface new thinking and innovative solutions to complex housing challenges.

The Europe Housing Forum welcomes diverse stakeholders and practitioners engaged in the topic of decent, affordable and environmentally sustainable housing.

Participants may include influential business leaders, policymakers, academics, urban planners, architects, property developers, representatives of international organizations and nongovernmental organizations, donor agencies, social enterprises, housing finance organizations, technology companies, youth organizations, researchers, advocates and others.

Europe Housing Forum is organized by Habitat for Humanity International. 

Objectives

  • Promote and advocate for inclusive, affordable, equitable and healthy housing in Europe;

  • Develop a common vision and capacities to scale up the low-income housing sector in Europe; 

  • Promote leaders and sector players with innovative and impactful housing initiatives through sharing of best practices that include Public-Private-People partnerships (P4);

  • Reward and celebrate most innovative affordable housing solutions in Europe.

Expected Outcomes

  • Promote and advocate for inclusive, affordable, equitable and healthy housing in Europe;
  • Develop a common vision and capacities to scale up the low-income housing sector in Europe;
  • Stimulate a strong component of Public-Private-People-Partnerships in housing solutions;
  • Promote innovation and encourage its replicability.
